Published by Dylan Scott Miller on

If you are familiar with how to practice gratitude, then you know that gratitude actually has proven, positive side effects for your health and wellness.

But did you know that it can have positive side effects on your business, too?

I won’t drag this out.

I mean, I’m a writer, so I could…

…But I want to help you get started shifting your mindset as quickly as possible.

Practice Gratitude, Get Clarity

Here’s the wildest thing about practicing gratitude…

…You have to notice the things you are grateful for…

And that doesn’t sound like anything abnormal until you start practicing it regularly.

When you start to stay on the lookout for the things you are grateful for, you will begin to notice a lot of things that make you go, “Huh. That’s cool.”

And when you start to say, “Huh. That’s cool,” you will begin to notice the pieces of your business that lead to successes, the little actions that make you feel like you are actually helping clients, and the interactions that make everything worth it.

In short, you will start to see what things are actually moving your business forward.

But, let’s get practical.

How to Practice Gratitude, Business Style

Quick and simple guide – make it public!

A gratitude journal is great, honestly.

But take advantage of social media and post business-related things you are grateful for and make it a highlight reel.

Acknowledge employees for their great work. Admire clients for their commitment to your brand. Admit when you realized you were being a little harsh on your business.

Personally, I like sharing a simple Instagram story with three things I am grateful for. And I try to do it every day.

For me, that’s how I practice gratitude.

It might work for you and your business, but you won’t know until you try!
